Nav Maharashtra Group was established about 52 years ago starting its operations from a very small town at Alkuti near Chakan, Maharashtra. Operations started with trading of edible oils and after successful operations for an initial period the company decided to expand into other line of businesses.

Today the total turnover of the group is approx. one thousand crores.

The company promoters have spearheaded the business and its growth for the last 3 decades under the able leadership of Mr. Shantilal Lunkad. Today the responsibility of the growth lies on the able shoulders of Mr. Tushar Lunkad, an MBA, with an astute sense of business operations.

Under this combination of youth and experience the group has now diversified into a variety of businesses.

Additionally the Group also has a government grant for running a School for the Blind, at Bhosari in the name of “Patashibai Ratanchand Manav Kalyan Trust” and also a Naturopathy Hospital at the Bhosari premises.

Currently, the group is planning an ambitious project of setting up an Inland Container Depot in New Mumbai.
